Nirvan Foundation Trust (NFT) is a
public charitable trust established on the 8th August 2003. NFT aims
at promotion, support, research and education in music keeping in mind its
universal character to bring about an awareness of music in society by
exploring the spiritual and cultural dimension of music. The activities of NFT
are conducted by trustees and patrons, who are from various walks of life with
a deep interest in music.
We are functioning as a registered trust and voluntary contributions
made to the trust qualify for tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax
Act, 1961. At present NFT has been
organizing two main events every year (‘Naman Sandhya’ in September and
‘Bhavana’ in January). In addition
to this workshops and lecture demonstrations are planned to be conducted from
time to time. We have been managing our
activities by ourselves without any support from any Government or private
institutions. As the above activities involve a huge expenditure, we are
looking for a positive support from music lovers, corporate houses and other
institutions by way of donations / financial assistance. Kindly respond to
our humble appeal for support to work towards the cause of promotion of music
with an intention to preserve the cultural and spiritual heritage of our
country.
Thanking You.
With regards
